Description
PerioGlas not only regenerated bone but also preserved the whole ‘Periodontium’. While PerioGlas was primarily indicated for periodontal defects, it could be used to regenerate bone in any or all osseos defects.
While historically the purpose of a graft was to replace the missing tissue, PerioGlas was one of the very few synthetic substitutes that would completely resorb and regenerate bone in the defect. It demonstrated excellent bonding to both bone and soft tissues.
