iSEAL tissue adhesive:
iSeal® is a fast drying butyl cyanoacrylate tissue adhesive. It is an effective tissue adhesive which displays hemostatic properties and a bacteriostatic action, useful in periodontology and oral surgery. This dental adhesive is designed to perform specifically in the oral cavity.
Liquids polymerise (turn solid) when applied in a thin film and contacted with water off a soaked cotton gauze. Alternatively, the patient’s own saliva can be used and applied with a gloved finger, using gentle pressure, to produce an ultra-smooth finish to the adhesive. Polymerisation Time around 30 to 45 seconds.
Stays in place for up to 14 days when a multi-layer application is applied. Two Years Shelf Life and to store in room temperature of 18 to 30* C iSeal® is indicated for use in the oral cavity as a securing agent.
